Here in Midhurst, we try to encourage the participation of children in many aspects of our Church life.
Our latest initiative is the setting up of a Youth Group . More details of this and our other Youth-facing activities below.

STANNS is an after-school club which represents the focus of our outreach for children of Primary School age. Every Tuesday during term time we welcome over 20 children each week to our fun-filled sessions in St Ann's Hall which is situated just along the road from the church.
We have a wonderfully creative team of helpers who interact with the children to bring alive all sorts of areas of Christian teaching.
The children arrive straight from school and enjoy a special tea prepared by a generous band of church members. There is the chance to chill out and play games before a session of craft, drama and art based activities, all with a strong Christian ethos, led by a committed teams of adult helpers.
Contact the Parish Office for more details, or call Chris Wight on 01730 816977.

Many families are taking advantage of our short informal service on the first Sunday of each month to enjoy a lively Worship time together. With an earlier start time, and shortened service, there is still plenty of time left in the day to fulfil all those other family responsibilities. Click here for more details.

Every year during the Easter school holiday, our older children can participate in a week-long Pilgrimage Walk. The route (and the weather) changes each year, but invariably a great time is had by all, and many new friendships are forged. With the pilgrimage now 10 years old, we are putting together a booklet with everyone’s memories and special moments of previous walks. We’ll try to publish some stories and pictures here at a later date.

Along with other local Churches, we play an active role helping with a week-long “Holiday Club” for a wide range of ages, usually during the first week of school holidays. Keep an eye on our news-sheets for latest information. |
