A working group has been developing a vision for our Church that will inform and guide our activities. This is being continually reviewed by the by the PCC.
The congregation of St Mary Magdalene & St Denys are committed to The Christian faith, and love the Lord Jesus Christ. We are a people of prayer, we genuinely care for one another both individually and corporately, and we seek to find out what God wants. We believe that God is at work both within and outside of this Church
Our vision is to be a shining example of the body of Christ, and to meet our spiritual potential.
We seek to achieve this by: ¨ Being rooted in the command to love God, and love one another. ¨ Expressing God’s love in our worship. ¨ Being Sacramentally based, in the centre of the breadth of the church. ¨ Being evangelical in our passion for the Gospel, and our desire for church growth. ¨ Careful preparation for our Worship, and putting faith & energy into our ‘Sacrifice of Praise’. ¨ Leading our worship with grace, sensitivity and dedication. ¨ Engaging with the command to ‘Love our Neighbour’, which takes us far and wide outside the membership of the Church. ¨ Accepting the call to Love and Serve.
