Minutes of the Meeting of Parishioners to elect Churchwardens

held on Monday 23^rd April 2007

1. Welcome and Prayer

Mr Dominic Singleton, churchwarden, welcomed the people present, and invited  

Rvd. John Hickman to open the meeting with readings from Acts II and Ephesians IV, followed by prayers.

2. Election  of Chairman for the meeting          

Mr Dominic Singleton was proposed, and adopted, as chairman for the purpose of the meeting.

3. Minutes of the previous meeting                  

The minutes of the meeting held on 23^rd April 2006 were agreed to be a true record of events.

4. Election of Churchwardens

The following nominations were received for the position of Churchwarden:

Mrs. Patricia Neal         Proposed by: Betty Marston       Seconded by: Marcus Davies

Mr Geoffrey Haines      Proposed by: ????                     Seconded by: ????

Mr Michael Ian Watts   Proposed by: Sue Bayliss           Seconded by: Evelyn Wight

Mr Haines addressed the meeting, and subsequently withdrew his nomination.

There were no further nominations. Both candidates were appointed with no objections.

There being no further business, the meeting ended at 7:45pm.
